Have decided on what rules / games I am going to play with my boy, the reviews of which will appear on my blog. As is the way with wargamers, although I have at the moment every intention of playing the games I have outlined, I will probably then find my attention wondering of onto different rules. So, any recommendations for rules or games that I have missed that are good for playing with children? Before making recommendations remember that it is to play with a seven (soon to be eight) year old. Must also be a period that I have mentioned (as it means I have the toys for it) or very easy to start – either 'boy this game' or 'this set of rules only needs 20 or so figures to play'. Looks great! Our youngest loved Wings of War/Glory with the WWI biplanes – he was a very good player at age 9 |
