I popped into my local Model shop which has just moved into a larger shop and seem to be stocking more items. One of the new ranges are miniNatur Tufts. I am pretty sure that the "Two colour grass tufts late fall" are the same as the Army Painter Tufts. I've compared them side by side with an old pack and they look the same to me. There is a number 737-24 which seems to be on a number of packets which I assume is the size but cannot be certain of that. These appear to be different to the one I linked to earlier but unless you have them in front of you its hard to tell. link |

I just picked up some of the AP ones Saturday. Mine are considerably browner than that photo, even allowing for monitor color, etc. |

Are yours in the new double sized packet which are the new suppliers version? I am trying to find a match for the older version. As discussed on an earlier thread. TMP link |

In the past Army Painter tufts were repackaged miniNatur or Silfor products which contained less of the product. I am not sure if this has changed. Here is a discussion regarding this matter from several years ago - TMP link
I have used miniNatur/Silfor tufts for years and compared my items with the Army Painter tufts a mate bought and they looked the same to me. Cheers, Barry |

Not sure how I can make this any clearer but in the photo above the top Tufts are the old smaller packages supplied under the Army Painter label as Highland Tufts. The tufts below are also supplied as Army Painter Highland Tufts and are clearly made by another supplier as the colour, size and shape are now completely different. I have found what I am looking for as mentioned in the first post. I was just trying to help others in the same position having to match tufts to complete an Army. |

The bottom ones look like a Gamers Grass product (either 6mm Dry or 4mm Brown). |
