I am looking to get some of the Wargames Foundry HYW Halberds and would like to know how they compare scale wise to the Black Trees Hundred Years War range and the older GW/Citadel Men at arms miniatures. Thank in advance.

These are the WF Miniatures: link

BTD fantasy Averaign and historical HYW ranges are perfectly compatible with each other, though a particular person might say the HYW figures are a tad slighter. Both of these BTD figures look fine with the metal GW Bretonnian figures, though the BTD Averaign figures have slightly more "heroic" halberds than the GW.

Those older Foundry HYW figures are slightly shorter and slighter than either the GW or BTD figures, though IMHO would look fine intermingled because the style is similar. Also consider Front Rank figures for either HYW early or late, because these are on scale with BTD and GW, almost perfectly so. I almost cannot tell the BTD and Front Rank figures apart.

I use BTD, GW and Front Rank together, I have a few Foundry mixed in but not many as I like the pose style of the others more

The Foundry are smaller. How much that bothers is up to the individual.

Thanks for the info so far, The foundry HYW halberds look more like the GW Brits, does anyone have a comparison pic with them side by side?
