Last week I have reported about the 1/72 Strelets set of Lawrence of Arabia. ( link ) Today I will have a look at the upcoming set M 122 – Turkish Infantry in Tropical Uniform. My review will describe and investigate the uniforms, weapons, equipment and so on, and I'll prove the historical accuracy of the figures. Report in english and german. Have fun with the article and the pictures. link

Great looking set. Specifically, I think the figures are sculpted more as Arab Ottoman infantry based on the keffiyeh the grunts are wearing. Excellent figures for the division that defended Beersheeba against the Australian Light Horse. |

Great looking figures a a solid review, koppiblogger. Did you notice that in the close-up of the guys aiming their rifles that they were wearing a kabalak, but in the group picture they were not? Maybe we will get 2 sets of Turks from Strelets! Bob |

Thanks a lot. Yes Bobspruster. I saw it, but not at first sight. Maybe there are two sets, maybe different poses in the same, we will see. It would be to much speculation to write about that. Maybe I will add a comment in the article. |
