Please see below for scenario and AAR for a quick Nuts! scenario, based on true events, set during Operation Bluecoat in Normandy 1944: link

Very nicely done. Liked your tactical suggestions as well.

Great battle report

Excellent fight, thanks for posting! Another smooth advance, good for you! You seem to have much better luck with the PEFs then I did, I always ended up alone and outnumbered ;)

And I really like the look of the table and troops. The 6mm troops were cool, but they've got nothing on your 15mm setup.

Jack

Thanks Jack,

I think the difference may simply be that most of the missions I have done have been against an enemy with low investment levels (1-3).

I was pleased at how well the 6mm work and I'd be glad to use them again, but 15mm did work better, just because the game's resolution is that individual figure level. 6mm required a few conventions to get it to work, but 15mm works fine as WYSIWYG. My 15mm setup is very basic though (I haven't played a 15mm game for 7-8 years!), I need to put a bit of effort into getting the terrain a bit better.

Hmm, not familiar with 'investment level,' that must be a new concept from the latest edition of the rules.

And I know what you mean about 6mm vs 15mm. Personally, I tried 6mm individually based troops once. It worked fine, but just didn't feel right. I did 10mm skirmish stuff for a bit, looks like I'm a 15mm guy now.

And I thought your terrain looked great!

Jack

Yea Jack! Glad you are a 15mm guy now.

Whirlwind, nice AAR.

Joe
