Inspired by World of Tanks Blitz, I'm hoping to run a super fast gaming night with my group. Beer and Pretzel gaming, probably get 2-3 games in the evening: like what you get when you host a Wings of Glory game night.
Will use my 6mm stuff, mashing up the Crossfire rules. Looking for suggestions for the scenario, tabletop, tanks to use etc, Chinese farm or Golan Heights.

Golan heights.
Early phase: Israeli Centurions dug in along a long ridge line defend against a huge wave of Syrian T-55s trying to cross the Israeli minefield and anti-tank ditch. Syrians supported by engineer units to cross the ditch and massive Soviet style Arty bombardment. Syria uses the AT 3 Soviet anti-tank missile. Israel has arty, just not much. Israeli air support non-existent due to Soviet AA weaponry.

Mid phase: Syrians breach ant-tank ditch and move up and into Golan heights. Israel hangs on while reinforcements begin to arrive in the form of Centurion and Super Sherman tanks and mech infantry. Mech infantry in US M3A1 half-tracks from WWII and some in more modern M113. Cut throat point blank fighting at many stages.

End Phase: Soviet AA defeated by counter-measures and Israeli air power gets back in the fight using US A4 and F4 planes. Syrians pushed off of the heights and back into Syria as the Israeli reinforcements arrive in number. Note: The Syrian Republican Guard was armed with T62 tanks. Mech infantry used BTR 50 and 60 as well as BMP 1. AA and AT were based on BRDM vehicles.

Chinese Farm: Egyptians initially occupy the area without a tremendous amount of Israeli resistance. Israel counter-attacks with Centurion and M60A1 tanks without proper infantry support. Egyptian T55, T62, and infantry armed with RPG and Sagger missiles wreck them.

Mid Phase: Sadat feels lucky. Egypt attacks and is in turn wrecked by Israeli forces in a swirling battle among the dunes. Same equipment, Israeli air power gets back online.

Late phase: Egyptian offensive halted with heavy losses. Israeli reinforcements arrive and lead Israeli offensive that drives Egyptians back across the canal, continues into Africa. Appearing late in the game is the US Tow Missile system.
Forgot to mention Arab airplanes. Migs mostly. 17, 19, 21. Various SU ground attack planes also used.

Arab units performed better than expected but were only at best, trained troops. Morale was good in the beginning but shattered by the end. Israeli regulars were very well trained, reinforcements less well so. Israeli troops maintained high morale throughout knowing that this could be the end of their country if defeated.

Of course this is a massive over-simplification of a short but very complex series of battles. War ends when US and USSR broker a peace through UN. Israel almost used nukes. Soviets threatened to send combat troops into the region if Israel pushed on to Damascus and Cairo.

Treat Egyptians as Soviet command (must begin and end moves in sight of platoon leader), Syrians as American (Can leave sight but cannot begin move out of sight).
Israelis get counted as Germans (Can move freely from platoon commander).

Israeli rally at +1, others have no modifier.

Arabs also used BTR 152 APC. Not sure how I forgot that one.
