My Dad was a Marine in WWII & used a Reising on occasion but he preferred a shotgun (he was an MP toward the end of the war after training as a sniper/scout for the Japan mainland invasion), his partner preferred the Reising. |

The Reising was too finely machined to endure the realities of life in the field. Too much dust, dirt, and rust….. |
