HELLO, I BOUGHT SOME OF THE DISCONTINUED PRUSSIANS MANY MONTHS AGO. THE COMPANY SAID THAT THEY WOULD BE SHIPPED MARCH 1, BUT MY ORDER STILL HASN'T ARRIVED. JUST WONDERING IF I SHOULD BE WORRIED. HAS ANYONE GOT THEIR MINIZ?

I have the same problem with FG Miniz. I have written them the letter and they have answered that they are still waiting for their order with new prussian sets (besides infantry I have also ordered Generals Set and Blucher).
So, i still wait.
But i heve problems with Wargames Foundry: 2,5 months ago i have made the order. Order not received and Foundry don't respond to my letters. Maybe someone can comment on their behavior? |

OK, thanks anchar1977. I also ordered generals. I am actually quite interested in their replacement sculpts too, but this waiting is not a good sign. At the moment I am using Elite and the Foundry (Casting Room) Prussians, but would like some others to mix in. FG's original sculpts were good, but the muskets were far too weak to risk for war-games use. |

Agreed. I hope that the replacements for the old range are as good with more robust weapons. |

You can count on Franck and Christian from FG, they are good guys and hobbyists themselves and I should be very surprised if they were to let you down. They are a small operation and also have a small shop to run. I also suspect that production runs are held up waiting for critical mass.. and the first run of the generals probably sold out quickly as they are great figures. I agree it is very disappointing, there you are waiting for your minis.. and nothing happens.. especially no communication. If you are into FB they have a page there as well. Probably not want you want to hear, and as I say disappointing, but I am sure you will get your minis in the end.
Idem Wargames Foundry… that just sounds as if something has dropped down a crack… usually best way to sort that out is a call – or drop them another email and address it to Diane or Marcus.. that should do the trick.

Thanks C. I did finally get a reply saying that they are awaiting their order of castings. I suppose I was getting worried because I ordered them ages ago and then was informed that they would not be shipped until March 1. Then April 1 came around and I wondered…. Cheers,

"better figures"??? This would be in the eye of the beholder. Sadly the FG MiniZ Prussian infantry of 1806 seemingly is off line. I regard their infantry first class and yes in my eyes better than 3A figures – FGMiniz at least understood the peculiar points of uniform dress of Prussian Army 1806. I like especially their Prussian Staff of 1806 – even an officer with a Piekesche, really impressive. |
