This is end of bound 12 of our multi evening game. Almost nothing here its either run off or is still hiding. Scenic bits are again "extra board edeges to increse the compl;exity of the game. Same rules much more complex game. This is the first 8 ft of the 16 ft. Rules are standard just the sheer size makes decision making much interesting (real generalship stuff) not company commander stuff. link link Note this is the real thing, photos of the actual game taken at the club where we play just as we are about to knock it dowm as our records for the next game. Just the long shots taken here. |

Thanks for sharing. Man, that is a lot of hexes. Love your scenic backdrops. Was thinking about adding some of those along the periphery of my gaming table(s) as well, just for added color. Never would have thought to add them into the center like you've done though. That is a pretty neat way to break up a table. |

Love the screens! Neat idea. |

Repaint, the table portrays a very long stretch of road, twisted around to fit on a table with a shorter linear dimension. The screens show where the edge of the (long, snaky) table is! |

That may be the most hexes I've ever seen in one place. Nice work. |

emckinney. in places its 2 roads so that there are more decions to be made. For the attacker to work out which one he wants for the main effort and the other to defend, to prevent possible counter attacks threatening his supply route. For the defender its similar, work out which way is the enemy Main effort and stop it. Neither side has enough to cover fully both routes where they occour. Weasel, The flat hex is a new thing by Kalistra. They are only a couple of mm thick so take up minimal space and do not distort. They being "6" hex make a superb grid to rebuild battlefields where multi evening games are wanted. Ro me this is the ultimare terrain system for hills. Much prefere the card roads to Hex roads as they always look daft and do not reflect the diversity of real road systems. Proabably ideal for 6 to 12mm (1/144). Maybe not so much for 15mm and up. We use a different system for that scale (fold flat). |

Im seriously pondering changing a lot of gaming to 6mm and below, so that size would fit me perfectly. Very cool. |

Wait, you had a 6x16' table and then folded a road around it? How much operational depth do you guys need?!? |
