I've got 6mm figures for fighting in North Africa from start to finish. I'd like to play 1:1 for vehicles, with a stand of infantry being a squad or platoon. I've got a host of rules to try (I sort of collect them, and they sort of collect dust). However, I don't have a good source for scenarios. Other than putting some together from scratch, does anyone have suggestions?

The old Avalon Hill game 'Tobruk': 1:1 vehicles, up to company level action. The rules in the game are pretty unworkable, but the scenarios work well at 1/300 scale with something like WRG's 1925-1955 armour/inf rules.

Pendulum of war by Niall Barr (?!) might be of interest.it deals with the El Alamein campaigns and from memory is quite granular with descriptions of battalion level actions.

Could not disagree more regarding AH's Tobruk: I've been playing it (original boardgame + miniatures) since 1975 and while the complexity and die rolling could obviously put some people off the rules are certainly not "unworkable".

The original can be hard to track down and expensive (collectors market) but Critical Hit has re-booted it twice now: their ATS system and Tobruk De-Programmed (BRL1192):

Scenario Packs are available and a less expensive option than purchasing the complete game.

Skirmish campaign series or Toofatlardies supplements.
They have a couple of free ones on their yahoo group.
