this is a set i have finished is a card driven wargame more like battlecry and not like piquet or the other one, sometimes simplicity is the way to go im a big fan of battlecry and used to have a box of the original one i painted the armies with american civil war music but then a day a friend offer me a good trade and i have to let my game go :( but i learned a lot from it. but anyway to the rules :) sorry for the typos this will be fixed in the last version of the rules and i will release free when done some dudes already requested the napoleonic conversion

I like the look of it but why does it say "for 10mm"??? |
vtsaogames | 30 Mar 2017 8:11 p.m. PST |
Is this a 9 X 13 hex grid like many of Borg's games? I ask because I have a hex mat of that proportion. |
giogionis | 30 Mar 2017 9:43 p.m. PST |
it is a gridless game vtsaogames of course you can use it still in your mat, 10mm are the armies i have but i have scaled for 15mm and 6mm also daler240D and still in playtesting Weasel i will released after fixing some things :) |

This is what ive been waiting for! I would love a copy! |

I would remove that 10mm reference from the cover then. It doesn't make sense to turn people off right away, rightly or wrongly. (I'm a 10mm gamer myself) |

Oh okay, looking forward to seeing the final result. Your cards look outstanding. |
Extra Crispy | 31 Mar 2017 12:57 p.m. PST |
Does it work with multi-player games? My games are usually 6-10 players so one unit at a time is a no go for us – you spend all day watching others while you wait your turn… |

thedisgruntledfusilier i hope not to dissapoint you :) daler240D yeah the reference will be fix so the cover says 6mm,10mm and 15mm, Weasel thanks :) Extra Crispy well the game works at brigade level and each card allows you to make an action with the units on your brigade, each card has a number on it thats the amount of actions you can take with your whole brigade lets say a card has 4 points you can spend one of those points to move a unit another to make a shot with that unit or move another unit and thats how you spend your points to give you an example besides that is the text on the card that let you perform some specific task with your brigade, multiplayer beyond 2 players? i think it is yes because the system is the same for everyone you will have to print more cards only :) to make 2 decks in order to play with 4 players. |
giogionis | 31 Mar 2017 2:40 p.m. PST |
the number of actions is the way i reflect or try to the variables at a battle sometimes units dont shoot because of reload times or other issues. and the text on them let you perform some other types of actions that usually not all the units can perform at the same time for example forced march by using it with the 4 point value it let you move or shoot with 4 units but using the text lets you move until 8 units at double speed in a single turn but take one hit due to exaustion so you can take that place on the battlefield quickly but at a cost but in the longer term it can make the difference on the battle. |
