I think the scifi stuff went to Dreamforge, but I don't see them at their site.

They probably disappeared into the Black Hole that is Warlord Games, together with the Amazons and skeletons, when WL started distribution for WGF.

Perhaps, someday, when the Saviour comes, they will arise and appear again to walk your gaming tables with a 200% price hike (like the zombie survivors….)

I have 2 boxes I would be willing to sell.

I know warlord games said on TMP other day the Shock Troopers went to Dreamforge games though I do wonder if they we're getting mixed up with Dreamforges's(much nicer tbh) Eisenkern range.

Either way both companies already have there own sci-fi ranges which the Shock Troopers don't fit into so I doubt either would be bothered about re-releasing them.

I have some extra for sale too, including heavy weapon teams.

I'd might be interested in picking up some of the shock troopers if you can contact me at Nils dot Hedglin at Gmail dot com.

Thanks

Great looking miniatures. I have a sizable collection of quick painted ones I built for running sci-fi games at conventions..

There's a little voice inside me that whispers that there's a niche out there that's opened up with Wargames Factory gone. It's probably the same little voice that convinced me to open a gaming store so I probably shouldn't listen to it again. :D

Really, I think you'd want to go a little more modular and interchangeable than they did. Try not to make the same mistakes. Dirt cheap minis, separate heads and weapons with hands attached not many spare bits, focus on getting as many figures per sprue as possible. Hit the fantasy and sf first because they sell and try to squeeze the historicals in. For example, fantasy and historical Vikings could be the same figures. Keep the fantasy more low key and realistic. Oh well, maybe one day I'll have the time and money available to give it a try.

Has anyone confirmed that DF has these and not Warlord? I would love to get a ton of these guys. I just got 2 boxes when the company went under :(
