… Commander In Chief.

"Alec Baldwin may be making noise that his days playing Donald Trump are nearly over, but they aren't over YET. He was back with a bang on "Saturday Night Live" as the commander in chief at a military outpost in the year 2018 who is battling aliens — from another planet.

The sketch took on immigration and Trump's self-promotion — and included a sly dig at the president's regard for Russia.
"What a beautiful day," Trump/Baldwin says to the troops. "Who here loves Trump? I know this guy over here, he loves Trump," he adds, pointing to an incinerated, still-smoking alien.

But seriously, the aliens are "laughing at us," says Trump, suited up in military green as if he's just come from a tour of a Boeing plant. "They're killing us — and laughing at us."

Alec is surely the comic genius of our time.

Captain Gideon29 Mar 2017 1:50 p.m. PST

Comic genius I think NOT.

You insult comic greats like Jerry Lewis,Rodney Dangerfield to name a few.

Baldwin is garbage IMHO.

Funny thing…..while obviously it's meant as tongue-in-cheek…..and sarcastic, ….there is a sense of plausibility about it……now there's something to think about….

Alec is a pompous jerk. Always was, long before he started playing Trump.

As for his acting, he acts the same no matter what role he's playing, so he can't be called much of an actor then.

I watched the skit when it first came out. I wanted to laugh, but it was too plausible and wanted to cry.

I thank the powers that be that I live in a society were people can mock our political and religious leaders, whether the results are "funny" or not and irrespective of whether the perpetrators are jerks or not.

Personally, I found Baldwin's Trump horrifically entertaining.
