Some pics of the game I ran. It did not go as well as historically, with the French clearing the first line of Vietminh trenches and then bogging down in the face of heavy small arms, machine gun and mortar fire.

A preparatory smoke barrage helped, but the firepower and pluck of the 1st BEP and 5th BPVN wasn't quite enough.

Figures are a mixture of Warlord and Age of Glory's FNG line (formerly Red Star minis).

I have a DPB movie. Dubbed in Thai (?!) with English subtitles…wish I could find one not dubbed in Thai that'd work on US systems.

Lovely stuff, Troy.
I think I have that same DVD, bought from Thailand, but for me the French language works, maybe because I have a European DVD-player?

Looking for the movie on Youtube I found this, a Vietnamese movie about DBP!
