I am looking to create a scenario where one force has to fight its way to a keep after an ambush. I've purchased a three figure pack from Reaper.(one guy a noble-two guys carrying a chest) Do you guys know where I could get some more figures that could make up a merchant baggage train? (ladies-men carrying stuff) I'm looking for Reaper scale.(not the warlord line-dark heaven) Thanks for any help. |

The plastic GW Mordheim human mercs might be a good option, if you don't mind assembling them. They came with a couple of treasure cheasts, and it wouldn't be too difficult to model guys carrying the chests. The same human sprues are now used for the Empire militia, but pruchased as militia they don't come with the accessory sprues that had the chests. Foundry's el Dorado line also has one guy carrying a chest, but you can't by him by himself, unfortunately. BTW I could probably spare you a couple of the Mordheim plastic chests, if you can use them. |

What about Essex Miniatures? not sure if they match reaper tho, maybe abit smaller. |

But folks do come in different sizes - genetics & nutrition would affect growth. Grenadier did a 25mm line with a guy holding a chest on his back - he'd do for a really short, stocky dude. I think Reaper also has a henchman, "Osvald the overloaded henchman" Check the reaper site for these numbers - you can look in the parts section if you want individuals from a pack. 2559 - Brewmeister and patrons 2474 - Boren Backslap is a dwarf 2677 - Townsfolk IV - bandits and loot 2572 - Oswald 2845 - Undertaker and Henchman (not sure if you could use these guys) That's all I can think of off the top of my head, sorry. |

I should have said, you can just type in those numbers into the search feature and have them come up. There might be one in the boxed set - Dragonspine Sea. Look in the Boneyard for parts of the set |

I know there are various pack mules, horses, camels etc out there. Check Colonial and Wild West ranges as well as fantasy. Also Ox carts etc. |

Mega Miniatures has pack mules, horses and camels, a corpse cart (could be made into something else) and a travelling salesman with a largish horse-drawn cart. Dunno if it has a horse, though. |

Great ideas guys-thanks! The GW figures would be perfect. I'll check out the Reaper site-thanks for the codes. The metal magic figures look a bit rough.(and small) I want to make sure the quality is up to todays standards. Wild west and colonial ranges should work. I just want the sizes to be dead on. Thanks for the info. |

I wouold really recommend looking out for pack mules, wagons and carts - much more merchant caravan look than a few guys with bags. Griefbringer |
