Very nice work. I recently completed my Baker Company Finns as well. I posed a few pictures here: bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=6121

Lucky you who got some. I was ripped off in the KS….:(

Travellera:

I would suggest that it's not too late. I understand that Baker Company overcommitted on the stretch goals and underestimated the shipping. I also understand that they are slowly fulfilling the Kickstarter orders as they gather up enough cash from sales through their Web page. I believe there was no malfeasance or nefarious intent.

It took about a year to get all my stuff, but throughout the process Baker Company was communicative. In the end my stuff was fulfilled in its entirety. I would suggest you contact Baker Company. I actually offered to pay for additional postage from the UK to the US if he could fulfill the order. Soon afterward my figures and vehicles arrived.

While I believe that the masters were probably high quality, some of the figures seem to have lost a lot of definition in the molding process. Despite that, once painted and dipped, I think they look fine on the table. The vehicles are first rate.

I am happy to have them, have them painted, and have played with them. It is a fun campaign to game -- if you're not a Russian. We've had several Combat Patrol(TM) games with the figures and vehicles, and we've had a great time with them.

Please do tell us about the bases!

Are these figures still available? I looked through their site and there are a lot of blank links for figures.

Fortunately, I was able to buy a complete KS set from someone getting rid of their buy…guess the person lost interests. The figures I got were the Finns, and they are ok as you mentioned. But was more interested in buying some of the Soviets.

Thanks for sharing.

At least e-Raptor has transparent bases available.
Sizes are 30, 40, 50 and 60mm.

The bases are clear acrylic bases from Litko. They come in various shapes and sizes. I'm using the 25mm circles. Have a look here: link

Travellera, I've also reached out to Gavin multiple times through his various company websites and the KS page, but have had no reply.

Someone got a huge amount of stuff through the KS (20+ sets of everything) and was selling it off through ebay. I was considering buying what I still need from him but haven't seen his listings in ages.

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but it's nice to see at least someone got some minis. Four years later, and I've yet to see a thing. Or hear anything from Baker Company, for that matter.

Learned my lesson. Kickstart only from company/people I have previously dealt with and trust, or commit to a very low monetary amount. This one was quite a hit, unfortunately.

Paint the edges of the bases grey then they don't reflect that much and the mat they are standing on comes through better. It works believe me and the bit of grey around the edges does not make the base look bad. Give it a try.
