Continuing with this project, almost finished. A few details to be done. Paint a few more sandbags.You will see some whitish ones in the pics below. Cover all the sandbags with a good coat of white glue. Dry brush a light brown on the barbed wire bases. Add a few more casualties. Pics are of German 2nd, 3rd lines and Vimy Ridge. Comments are welcome. Kevin – Thanks, scheduled for Enfilade Saturday afternoon. See you there! Shawn, thanks! It's been a rather busy 2.5 months. This was decided at last years Enfilade when someone, I can't remember who asked if the WRG were going to do a Vimy Ridge game this year. Well as Kevin can attest, the Saturday night party with "The Canadians", is boisterous with numerous cocktails. So, in a somewhat inebriated state I decided with Bruce and a few others to move forward with this project. Unfortunately the North Shore gamers (Bruce) decided not to be involved. So it was pretty much left to myself with the help of Chris to get this done. Suggestions by a number of people including Shawn have helped me along the way. It's nice to see it come to an end. Now I have to figure out where to store it??

Wow, really fantastic looking. I hope you post some pictures of the games that get played on it when it's done. Can I ask, what are the dimensions of the square sections?

Thanks Gents! whitejamest – each board is 2'x2' with a total of 12 boards, so the table is 6'wide and 8' long. There is one Canadian trench and successive lines of German trenches.
