Our first game should be next week. Here's the scenario I'm working on. Comments welcome.

Scenario for Men Who Would Be Kings
"Water, Water No Where & Nary a Drop To Drink."
An Anglo-Egyptian Field Force is patrolling the area near Suakin. They feel they are strong enough to suffer no more than harassment from the local Beja tribesmen. Unbeknownst to them, the Beja have been re-enforced by a force of Ansar sent by the Mahdi himself.
Their mission is to journey to a permanent water source, replenish & return.
SET-UP
• Chose either the Mahdist or Anglo-Egyptian Field Forces (34 points)
• Play lengthways along the table
• Terrain is fairly open but with a waterhole towards the shorter, right side of the table. A map will be given out prior to play.
• The A-Es start on the edge of the shorter, left side of the table, in march columns
• The Mahdists mark their infantry units on the map. Mounted units are placed on the table. Each infantry & mounted unit must be touching a long table edge. Roughly half the force must be in each half of the table
SPECIAL RULES
• The A-Es move first in every turn
• The Mahdists are assumed to be concealed in folds of the ground. Unless they reveal themselves by firing or moving, they may only be seen when an opposing figure is within 18"

OBJECTIVES
+2 if the A-Es have a unit touching the well for two turns. The unit must have half or more of its strength & not be pinned.
+1 for each destroyed or retreated off table

I'm kind of hoping others post more (& better than my poor effort) so I can assemble a folio of future games.
