So, I've been binge watching Homeland with my son on Showtime On Demand. (Xfinity has a superb On Demand X1System…  ) So I was introduced to Dar Adal (F Murray Abraham) not very long ago IN REAL TIME. . Now we are just caught up with the current season.
OMG, he's Jerry Sandusky too! SPOILER ALERT. Not only is he a terrific TV villain, he's also eerily right in tune and up to date with current "Deep State" conspiracy theories. In one way I want to see him die a gruesome death at the hands of SPOILER ALERT.
But on the other hand, I thoroughly enjoy hating him as a villain and hope he comes back next season. |

Perfect villain… but he is loose because he is in love… (you know what I'm talking about)… (smile) I enjoyed Homeland from season 1…

Even before I saw the fictional collection of "hysteria" social media posts, I have seen evidence of this actually happening to both right AND left discussions on facebook. So, is fiction anticipating real-world or modeled after it ? |
