I know it's been asked before, but opinions do change and there are new rules coming out all of the time. Thanks for your thoughts. Moe |

It Came from beyond the Still. It's a hillbillies vs aliens game but we have used it for much more. Our group has used Necromunda a lot too, including for Falujah. And of course GorkaMorka. |

I would still vote for After The Horsemen by THW |

Fingers crossed, I'm hoping Scrappers! If it doesn't thrill me, I'm making my own. I've been painting up P-A minis for months, and am about to start on scenics. This thing is happening, and soon. |

I have used Axels and Alloys and Gorka Morka for Mad Max style car combat. I have also used a custom blend of Gorka Morka, Nuts!, and my own special sauce. I am pretty happy with my custom blend rules. |

I've tried a ton of post-apoc rules, as a few years ago we were were testing alot of rules for a post-apoc campagin here's a few. I really like Nuclear Renaissance, which is probably my favorite post-apoc ruleset. You do have to exercise a bit of restraint as powerful ranged weapons are very powerful. However, it's got a great vehicle system and is extremely flexible. The rulebook is also free at link If you want to get slightly RPG'ish and play with a rather small warband (4-8 figs) I'd check out WreckAge. Nice miniatures line to and produced and published by some nice local Chicago chaps. This is Not a Test has a great campaign system that will feel familiar to fans of necromunda, we played a campagin as playtesters a couple years back and it's now a published product. "Wastelands" over at the Post Apoc Wargames forum is another good free one. We used a simplified version for a great Mad Max-style Chase game at LIttle Wars a few years back. Punch any of those or just "Post Apoc" into the search at our blog and you'll find AAR's and more of our club's opinions about them and others. link |

Easy question. This is not a Test, or TnT, is a new skirmish set by Joey McGuire, very Necromunda/Mordheim styled. Interesting activation and alternation system, and very easy to pick up. |

I've heard good things about TnT. I was always a necromunda fan. |

Is the TnT system easily adaptable? I've been looking for a system to play Judge Dredd recently |

I forgot about Wastelands. There was one version that I thought was REALLY great. The other versions were decent. The campaign stuff in them was excellent. |

TNT is very adaptable. If memory serves, it's got alot of pre-made facitons as well as a unit creation mechanic for making your own. John, I agree with you, I think it was version 1.2 It was great for fast and bloody conflict in 28mm. We used it for a convention game if I recall. The current version Wastelands 3 meltdown seems slanted toward 20mm and more minis. Still fun, but not quite the same magic. I can't find the original now. Anyone have the 1.2 rules who would be willing to email them to me? |

Combat Zone, Nuclear Renaissance, wastelands, Warlord 2085/Skank and Neutronyork3000 have all been popular with me. I like Neutronyork3000 best as it is easy to learn and play. |
