I owned the original pink plastic version of these figures, and bought mine in Woolworths, Upminster, Essex, when they first came out.

I to had this nice marching band.

It was part of a model circus I had, before the joy of toy armies. (Mine were never painted that well!)

Yep, real men had the early pink figures… Obviously, mine were red!

Despite their simplicity they paint up well and look pretty impressive on parade.
