Gentlefolk,

Since I am working with Geoff Noble for his next effort in the "Great Battles of the Boer War Series: Spion Kop" board wargame, I had to go back and make sure the Colenso OB was correct, especially in regards to the Senior and Staff officers who would be not be present at Spion Kop.

It was a bit of a bear, but I was able to get through it and since the original was offered for Free, I am continuing with the tradition and offering the "New and Improved" version for FREE to you too!

While your there, feel free to look around and see just what Geoff did with Colenso.

There is also another FREEBIE link that I have provided below to some often unlooked at aspects of the Boer War, especially from Chester and von Lindenau.

You can also subscribe for FREE to the above CSW links to see how Colenso came about and what Geoff is planning on with Spion Kop!

I hope you find it as much as a treasure trove as I believe it to be, especially with the sketches, etc.

As an aside, the Colenso OB is of the same meticulous quality that all of my Orders of Battle are known for and they are all available on "The Virtual Armchair General" website (TVAG). Below is a another "Sample" link:

And the OBs proper are available here: (just keep clicking on the links to the left for more pages)

And, Finally: I will be Uploading some more "Free" topographical map and sketch scans for Spion Kop over the next several days, so save the links to Colenso or SK above to check back!

Comments Welcome! (Please let me know if you liked the links or any of your thoughts about the OBs and games)!
