I was wondering if anyone had experience with White/Black/Translucent Acrylic? Any special way to clean/prep it? Does it take paint well? There are a couple of ships I'm interested in on Shapeways and they are only available in one of the Acrylic plastics.

If it's similar to the old Clear Detail, it's almost like injection molded plastic IME, with cleanup being done best with a little dilute ethanol ( Green Cross medical solution is what I use. ) Army Painter primer seems to adhere best, but YMMV.
