Has anyone played or even aware of a Zvezda game called "Amada Invincible". I saw a listing for it on Amazon and wondered if it had any merit.
Thanks
Ed

It is more like a board game than a miniatures game.

I had been waiting and watching for it for years- I think it set a time record for an item being listed as "coming soon". I eventually wandered off and forgot about it.

The ships ARE great. I picked up the Santa Maria.

They are very nice, yes. Unfortunately they only put out a couple different ones and those are off scale compared to what else is out there. They really don't mix well with other galleons that are out there… too small for 1/300 and too big for 1/600.

The ships are 1/350th scale. The problem is this locks you into their ships or ships you scratch yourself. They make a very limited number of models, an English Race Built Galleon, Revenge, the Spanish Galleon San Martin which was the Armada's flagship, the Santa Maria (Columbus' ship) and a "pirate ship, "Black Swan". TMP's very own sailing ship expert (Julian, Model J Ship) made one of them a while back, needless to say he did a beautiful job. In 1/350th you could even add some crew figures.

ZVezda's ships are very nice to paint and rigging. I have taken the opportunity to do some of them and I really like them. The pitty is that Zvezda dont have in mind to do new models. Months ago, I sent a private mail to de company by facebook and they answered me that. :-(

If you are skilled you can do some conversions on the boats and build differents models. But little else.

I add all links of my Zvezda ships from Armada game.

Santa Maria, conversion like a Nao with guns.
