"In this version the young Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) runs the back passages of Londonium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword's influence, Arthur is forced to make up his mind. He joins the rebellion and a shadowy young woman named Guinevere (Astrid Berges Frisbey), he must learn to understand the magic weapon, deal with his demons and unite the people to defeat the dictator Vortigern, the man who murdered his parents and stole his crown to become king." That looks lame. It was getting a lot of poster space at SXSW. |

I think I'll pass on this one rather than add this to my list of movies I should never have watched. |

The new trailer looks marginally better than the old. I do like the Lady in the Lake but having said that I don't think this will be very good. Arthur as a street punk? No thanks. I saw Charlie Hunnam talking about all the research that they did to make the clothing look like Dark Ages Britain, except of course it doesn't. And what the heck is up with whatever Jude Law is wearing? This is supposed to be the first film in a 3 film series. I kind of doubt that, it was supposed to come out last Spring, then around Christmas, then in March now they're saying May. That is never a good sign and usually means that the Studio and or the Distributor isn't exactly happy with the end product. |

I thought this movie already came out and I missed it. Never a good sign. |

Add a few vampires and you have another win for the WB channel. |

I'm surprised Arthur isn't saving humanity from Zombies, or Pirates, or even better Zombie Pirates. |
