If anyone can give me a good place to get some quality 28mm horses for a project? Alot of the stuff I've looked at is old or OOP or just crazy pricing.(Usa sources preferred) Saddle or no saddle… no armor or anything crazy.plastic over metal but either works Side note: need some "riders" legs but I can do it myself with greenstuff. Thanks |

Try these folks: link I used legs from Wargames Factory celts and upper bodies from their zombie survivors to create a few mounted zombie survivors. |

Dixons has some nice standing horses for the ACW – simple saddle and reins. |

Got to 2nd Dixon horses they are some of the best. Price wise you could opt for perry ACW plastic set the riders bodies can be stripped back of detail pretty easy with them being plastic. I've converted mine into soviet cavalry for Bolt Action. So with spare parts and a bit of greenstuff it's amazing what can be achieved. |

Not a US supplier but Front Rank have really nice horses. Some with saddles, some with blankets only and some bare backed. |
