Don't quite understand the 3 rank mounting of troops who operated in 2 rank!

I think the front rank might represent skirmishers, although (IMHO) there needs to be more space between them and the next rank – or use less figures in the front line….

The massed infantry look a great. First Manassas is one of my favourite ACW battles.
