Or converted/sculpted their own?** This is the fella I'm talking about: link link link YouTube link
Or something similar? Dan ** I see that someone made an attempt at a 28mm version some time ago: link |

I can almost imagine him with a human sidekick (his own personal man-servant, mechanic), in this sort of armor:

Or a 28mm one for that matter. I found a book about "him" a while ago, great alternative history and some superb photo manipulations. A great addition to any pulp game. |

Vigilant, You mean this book? link Check out this "Iron Fireman" paperweight:
They both remind me a lot of Bender from Futurama. :) Dan |

Or a 28mm one for that matter. No boiler body but this might be close enough:

FOr a second there I thought the bug had struck again. Love that bot though. |

CC – That's the book. 28mm Fanatic – hadn't thought of those, wouldn't take much modifying either. |

If you only need one, shouldn't be too difficult to scratch make one from left over figures. I made the Tin Man for my Oz army by cutting, shaping and filing the body from a 25 MM horse, and then added, head, legs and arms, and am quite pleased with the result. For the head gear use a helmet from a 25 or 20 MM WWI British figure and you're all set. Terry |

Dan, I still have some of these:
with the right paint, head swaps, and guns trimmed I think they may match. They are about 17mm tall. |

I think the wrong scale, but perhaps the easieast to convert? (helmeted head!):

I guess I might need to give a 15mm version of this a shot, using spare bits and beads: link link I hope mine turns out to be half as nice. Dan |

Seeing this thread, I had pondered about sculpting a 15mm version. A few years back, I had converted some 15mm.co.uk robots that I got as a sample, inspired by Ashley Wood's World War Robot:
Way bulkier than BP. Can't remember what the code of the original bots were. Very rectangular and stiff, with a TV head. |

Wow! You almost captured the look. Perhaps if done for 15mm but using a smaller body to leg ratio, and with the right head on it. Dan |

check out hydra miniatures – retro raygun – robot legion – minibots. Small enough for 15mm Malcolm |

Small enough for 15mm? I've gotta check them out then. Dan |

By the way, I've superimposed a grid pattern on a couple of pictures of Boilerplate. Each square is 1mm, and the robot would be around 18mm tall:

Cacique, I believe Jeeves from reaper could be easily converted into this. |
