I just put together a group of bards and dancers They're primarily for a fantasy game, but they can be used (with a little handwaving) in a medieval game. The miniatures are a mix of Wizkids (the Rusty Dragon Inn set), Reaper, and Grenadier.

The entire troupe

Seamus O'Shameless, the lute player. Originally a Grenadier figure, it's now produced by Iron Wind Metals.

Now for the dancers and some other photos.

The lovely twins Nuri and Drina (my names for them), from the Rusty Dragon Inn. I reviewed this miniature in another thread.

I see you acquired another Rusty Dragon dancer, you greedy guy!

I really like that drummer.

Heh. I bought a couple of booster packs at my local FLGS; that's how I got my second dancing girl. I bought the bards at Miniature Market. The dwarf is pretty cool. I like the elf with the violin.

I plan to do a review of the other Rusty Dragon Inn miniatures in the near future.

Since this is a thread about bards, here's some music the band may play The pieces aren't not medieval, but they work.

Cool,thanks.

Since you went there, I have to say that drummer immediately put me in mind of the big guy here:

Later, apparently, things started to get a little weird:

I think your dancer is in there.

Somebody needs to do that band in 28mm!

I think I saw a couple of miniatures with bagpipes when I Googled "bard."

Anyone interested in fantasy versions of Elvis songs? evil grin
