It is in the weird range at CompanyB that we find this turret that will pimp your Panther to an uchronic world in 28mm.

Silly question: do the AFV Tesla guns fit this turret by chance? |

GHQ's Wehrmacht '47 line has some great models of WWII German AFVs, etc. That generally never made it off the drawing board. link |

The Company B tesla guns all have a round peg at the base that can be inserted into a variety of gun mantles from different manufacturers. It works in the F turret just fine. |

Brent, forgive me for asking but why is this classified Weird War 2? I can understand the tesla gun but not this. |

Were any Panthers actually fielded with the Schmalturm? If not, then it's appropriate for Weird War 2. |

I don't think anything like the Schmalturm was ever fielded. Even of the German AFVs in GHQ's Wehrmacht '47. Only one or two Maus prototypes were even partly constructed. Also, on Shapeways, Masters of Military has a lot of 6mm stuff from WWII, especially German that was on the drawing board/proposed. That never went into production. E.g. a Panzer Mk. VII Lowe … link me for asking but why is this classified Weird War 2? I can understand the tesla gun but not this. I don't think the Tesla gun was even on the drawing board … anywhere. |

From looking at Panzer Tracts no. 5-4 titled " Panzerkampfwagen Panther II and Panther Ausfuehrung F" there were a few test vehicles completed showing a Panther G with the F turret with some photos of it in this book along with some close up photos of the turret by itself along with photos of Panther F hulls before completion but it doesn't look like it was ever fielded. And you are correct about the Tesla gun as to me that is just pure fantasy with nothing even on the drawing board for it. |

Sounds about right to me … |
