Are there any manufacturers who make 28mm 16th/17th Century Japanese, Korean, and Chinese Pirates? Particularly for the 1582 Cagayan battles? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. |

I can't speak to their historical accuracy, but Eureka Miniatures has 28mm Chinese Pirates. link |

Part of Foundry and Old Glory ranges would work fine. |

The Perrys have two splendid lines for Japanese and Korean, mainly for the Imjin war. Not sure wether any of these can be used for Pirates, though… |

As others have suggested, perhaps perry's korean Guerillas:

The Chinese and Korean pirates often adopted the appearance of the Japanese Wako Pirates to disguise their origins and indeed some bands were multi-cultural (including at times renegade Portuguese). I would use any Japanese bandit/peasants figures, unarmoured (except for leaders and standard bearers) armed with Japanese swords, bows and the occasional matchlock. |

Forlorn Hope have a dedicated Wako range; link
Its likely that their ranks contained large numbers of Korean and Chinese pirates too. |

Scheltrum is still in business. I haven't seen their Wako pirates but their 28mm Koreans look great. They also make a 28mm Wako pirate ship. Their website is down but you can email them at scheltrum@gpa-humphries.co.uk. |
