How does Ebor and the older Foundry cavalry match up in size. Will the newer Ebor dwarf my older Foundry cavalry? |

Foundry is " shorter" and heftier, Ebor is very elegantly proportioned. I use Ebor and Front Rank Cavalry for WSS, but usually use Front rank for heavy cavalry because it looks the part. However, for pure design, the Ebor are really the winners. The cleanest castings are Front Rank. To directly answer your question, they will look fine in separate units, but won't mix well within a unit. My forces are a mix of Ebor, Front Rank, Old Glory, with a few Foundry, Warfare, Dixon, and Reiver. They all have their uses and allow a large and varied army. Mine's at over 1500 figures and growing! A great period that is well served by miniature casters. |
