I ran a Muskets and Tomahawks game at Cincycon last weekend. Here is a brief description of the battle and a few pictures as well. The time and location was set in 1794 Ohio. The forces involved were elements of the Legion of the United States vs warriors from the Shawnee/Miami, Ottawa ,and Chippewa tribes. The mission was "Engagment" from the rulebook. Basically a stand up fight. First side to reach 2/3 losses loses. The game was fought with six players, 3 to a side, and nobody was familiar with the rules. By the end of the four hour time slot, no clear victor had emerged, resulting in a draw. Here are some of the highlights.

The Ottawa took some heavy fire:

All in all a great contest.

I would have preferred the pictures to post, but I could not make it work, despite following the instructions.

Matt, a nice looking game. The con always seems to be on a weekend that I cannot attend.
