"Judge Dredd Minis: Foundry vs Warlord" Topic

I had a bunch of Warlord JD minis ordered and Canada Post just lost them (I kid you not)

Fortunately Miniature Market has refunded me but unfortunately they had no more and I can't find the same minis anywhere.

Foundry in the UK has some remarkably nice JD minis but I read somewhere that they are considerably larger than Warlord. Since I have some Warlord already I don't want to mix both if they're incompatible.

Can someone confirm that this is true or not please. And does anyone know if they're available anywhere else?

I've got Judges from both companies and they are reasonably compatible. The Foundry judges are slightly bigger but not too much, although it depends on which Warlord judges you compare them to. The most recent Warlord street judges (the ones in the Judge Cal's retinue boxed set) are quite big and about the same size as the Foundry judges.

On the evidence I actually ordered from Foundry this morning as the minis look great imo and if the differences are not ridiculous I can live with them.

Some great paint jobs there…which leads me to another question:

I noticed the eagle and shoulder pads are painted gold and with others yellow. I was certain I woud go the more comic route and use the yellow but after some of the images I tempted to "go for gold" Any thoughts?
