I'd never painted a camel before until recently. Using Caesar figures, I began with a 12 camel unit of Shasu nomads for my Bronze Age forces. Immediately I went to the Mahdist armies started a few years ago & put on hold. Using several great HaT sets, I added a 10 camel unit of Taaishi, a further 10 camel unit of Beja before turning to the Egyptians. I'm looking at 8 camels for the Egyptian camel Corps. 8 more camels to paint….. I was beginning to find painting camels to be tedious before I realised I was over the hump. 87))) |

Yes, but have you solved for the protection of the Armored Camel Cavalry Corps from their Camel TOW problem? |

I think anyone who could get a real camel to stay still for that paint job deserves an award – maybe a giant package of medical dressings in assorted sizes. |
