New product is up at Toasted Spaceships. I've designed a space station that can be used as it is or combined with a range of other pieces to create large orbital colonies. [URL=http://s184.photobucket.com/user/toaster5sqn/media/Sketchup/Space_station_modules_zpsdiz9sx0b.jpg.html]

Just posted this and had another idea. Who would be interested in an Orion drive module to turn your orbital colony into a generation ship? Robert |

Good stuff – love the design and the modularity. An Orion Drive would make it useful for GZGverse First Solar war scenarios; such a station might be assembled in a newly claimed system, to study and explore it for colonization and exploitation, with the Orion Drive used to move it form planet to planet. The presence of such a base would be an argument for it's owners and nation of registration having sovereignty in that system . . . . Which would lead to an interesting status as a target . . . :) |
