I am working on the classic Old Glory SYW 15mm figures from 20 or more years ago made now by 19th century miniatures and am a bit frustrated with the artillery models. The barrels especially are bland and lacking realism. I have also a few from Eureka which are more realistic in some ways but too small I think. Does anyone have experience with various makers of this periods cannons?

You want to see if these will work for you:

I think you'll find what you're looking for in QRF's Freikorps range. Very nice and very wide collection.

Besides the above good suggestions:

Look at the old Hallmark line. I know you can buy them from Magister Militum and Scale Creep, not sure about others.

I really like the sculpting of the Blue Moon guns, but they are way too big to mix with guns or even artillerists from other lines of miniatures. There's really nothing "15mm" about the Blue Moon range.
