"World War Two PT boat 305 is back in the same dock it was in back in 1943. The freshly restored World War II motor torpedo boat doesn't like to go slow – it's used to racing into the dangers of war.

Extremely cool.

To save some time, PT 305 served in the Mediterranean, rides are $350 USD, and the two "ships" sunk were a flak lighter (AA barge) and an Italian torpedo boat. No subs or actual ships. Still a distinguished career, participated in some invasions, etc.

Wow, I'd love to take a ride on her! As a kid, I was very taken with the PTs, especially after the movie "PT 109" came out. I dragged all of our lawn furniture and big wooden picnic table together to build a play PT boat. Found some long cardboard tubes for torpedoes and I was in business! :)
