All, I am putting together a Russian field army for the SYW. I can see that an infantry battalion (less grenadiers) at a ratio of 1:20, should have something like 32 figures if at full strength.

Does anyone have any information if that strength was achieved on the battlefield, or where the battalions smaller, say 24 figures strong?

Your help with links or just comments would be appreciated.
