Which miniatures would you recommend for gaming the Dhofar rebellion?

Until the coup and modernisation of the Sultans forces, they used British WW2 gear, weapons and trucks. Some of the Indian Army figures available may suit…..just need to check the headdress.
The adoo were irregular tribesmen increasingly armed with more modern weapons…the AK became the norm. Check Arab and Afghan figure ranges with some headswaps as needed.
I have a ' generic' Arab force that serves from 19-20th Century with the addition of certain support weapons….cannon and maxim guns or Dushkas and 82mm mortars!
