Starting to catch up on blogging now after a busy couple of months prepping for and heading out to run games at local conventions. A couple of quick AAR's in the blog post on games run at Arisia in January and TotalCon last weekend. More details and photos here: link Also seen in the photos are sneak peeks at upcoming posts on modelling some of the teams and extra bits. New to my tabletop are Kuromoromine, Ooarai, and St. Gloriana's; SFX tokens to mark movement and shooting using the SFX katakana from the manga; and crew figures. Stay tuned for details in upcoming entries. Operation Sneak On Pravda's Flag, Hippo and Turtle teams fail to take out Pravda's flag tank:
Grand Double-Flag match pitting the combined teams of Kuromoromine and Pravda vs. Jatkosota and Ooarai. Sangou commanding Kuro's lighest tank, a Panzer III up on the center hill, knocks out both opposing flag tanks:
St. Gloriana's rolls in to face Jatkosota, and Cranberry in the Crusader take's out Miko's BT-42 flag tank in the very first snapshot of the game for the quickest victory on record:
Final slugfest between Pravda and St. Gloriana's that eventually ends with the dashing and sneaky Cranberry taking out Katyusha's opposing flag tank:

That looks great fun. A combined team of Pravda and Black Forest sounds scary. |

It was scary indeed. Ooarai quickly pulled away from Pravda to join the battle against Kuro. Pravda was out of the fight for several turns trying to catch up but being delayed by sneaky tanks. All the while, they kept a solid formation of impending doom. Jatkosota's sneaky tanks got all around Maho in Kuro's flagtank, but failed to take it out. Each of the sneaky Continuation tanks was taken out one by one. It was a good match! |
