I have a real problem with Caunter schemes. For some reason, I find translating 2D to 3D challenging. Anyway, in consequence I took some time to paint a single vehicle to use as a pattern for the rest. I hope someone else might find it useful

Caunter is a pain for everyone. You make it look easy. I agree with you on the slate blue, by the way. Makes a very nice contrast.

I'm really impressed by your Crusader stripes. Every time I do it, I just can't keep the size consistent. Any tips or tricks?

Hi Rich.

Grey square, dark red centre stripe on top, then white to the sides, bright red in the centre. I think the grey square is the trick, once you have that it's just a case of dividing it into three with the dark red stripe, & obvously, you don't paint the grey square or dark red completely out – if you look at mine, I just do narrower bright stripes on top – it kinda 'blurs the margins'.

Ah, blurring the margins! Brilliant. I'll give it a try.

Interesting. And I like the blue as well.

Very well done

The blue is nice. Totally wrong, of course – but still nice

Here is a good link on British colors.
