Looking for examples of maps that WW2 operational/tactical air planners, Group or Squadron commanders and planners, could have used. Hoping for anything from the Pacific theater or specifically the Solomons Campaign.

Even the type and scale of map to search for would be helpful. Thanks.

Are you doing a squadron versus squadron type game on the oprational level? I have been wanting to do that for years but all the air rules I have seen are based on plane versus plane combat. Have you tried ONCs? Operational Navigation Charts? lib.utexas.edu/maps/onc
