Valverde is one of my favorite Civil War battles, brilliant job on the gaming table. Wish I could be there! |

Very nice indeed! Just need to remove the saguaros (sorry it's a pet pev of mine) no saguaros outside Arizona except a few along the border in Mexico. |

The Valverde Battlefield is in CS Arizona. In 1862, it was part of NM Territory. I will leave it to someone who lives there now to tell me if there are any Saguaros. |

HI jdginaz is correct, there are no Saguaros catus in NM. I have been rock hunting in the area for years and have never seen one. |

I will take them off then. They are not affixed to the terrain. |

Lovely terrain! What rules will you be using? |

Regimental Fire & Fury and I am using the scenario straight out of the second R F&F Scenario Book. |

I know one game on my "must play" list for Nashcon. |

CS Arizona was a concept not a reality. even so it doesn't change the fact that Saguaros only grow in the real Arizona and not New Mexico. |

I was trying to explain why I put them on the board. I understand the basics of Confederate Arizona. I already said I was taking the things off the board. |

Sorry didn't mean for it to sound so argumentative. You of course could have left them in it's your game after all. My original post was meant to be more informative than demanding. |

Great job! Don't let the saguaro police get you down. |

I always try to maintain historical accuracy. Accuracy with flora and fauna is sometimes a bit more difficult. The saguaro cacti will come off, as it would get under my skin to know they shouldn't be there. Good information to have if I ever decide to do Glorieta Pass in the future. No worries. B |
