So apart from the obvious (95th rifles in the farm house etc) is there a record of which battalions fought where during Waterloo? I'm specifically interested in french 1st corps, 1 & 2 division, and who they fought, but a comprehensive record would be good, anyone got a link? |

Help him out….this is not the Oscar Ceremony after all……sand pit……and various places on the ridge top depending on company and battalion. To be fair, Sean Bean was in the LHS building but his lads were not 95th anyway, oddly!….and they did not speak German |

ok sorry been watching too much Sharpe's Waterloo. Behind the farmhouse, in a sand pit. Anyway just goes to prove I really need a reference map. Prompted by Major B's map I've managed to find one showing all the commanders positions, so I think I can cross reference this to an OOB to work out what I want. I'll get my coat… |

Leave your coat on the hanger ;-) Track down a copy of Mark Adkins 'Waterloo Companion'. It is not flawless, but the visual and OOB presentation is excellent. |

I thought that Sean bean was at every significant point at Waterloo during the day (and the night before when he told Welly where to fight) |

Have fun. First corp are on the French right, attacking up the crest against the Dutch Belgium and Nassau troops, with some brits and Scots for added colour. Then they fight elements of the Prussians later in the day |

For what its worth I would also recommend the Waterloo Companion. |
