Just started a skirmish force in 6mm to play the Men Who Would be King rules. Basing based on the 1,2,3 system. Write up on the blog. Hope this is of some interest.

Nice looking figures! I really like how you based them. Can't wait to see pics of the finished Zulus and an AAR.

Agreed. You've done a very good job!

Thanks for comments guys. I will let you know when the Zulus are done.

Wow, great idea man! How big a table are you playing that sort of game on?

Per Broden27 Feb 2017 4:53 a.m. PST

I will downscale everything from inches to centimeters. So a 6 by 4, that is 72 by 48 inches, simply becomes 72 by 48 centimeters. It is a easy conversion as whenever the rules says inches it becomes centimeters.

I have already done this using the Sharp Practice rules for the French Indian War, of which I done several blogs. The first one here.

I based all of them individually but on reflection, and if I do more, should have used the 1,2,3 method as for the British Colonial infantry in the posting above.

I love it! Bravo! Now I am tempted for SP in 6mm

That is pretty neat. I would have never considered 6mm for Colonial skirmish games myself, but you have demonstrated that it can work.

Those look very cool.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I did some Zulus last week.
