I finished my stash of Perry wire spears a few months ago. I've tried the North Star 100mm and 50mm spears, and liked them for my 28mm pikes, lances, and javelins. I managed to get some Xyston 50mm, and again, liked them for javelins. I just liked the broader head of the Perry spears, for 28mm infantry. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer that I've overlooked? |

Old Glory makes spears (50mm) and pikes (100 mm). |

Unless your heart is set on wire, check out the excellent plastic spears that Fireforge offers. Recommended! link |

Thanks for all three new options! And I'll consider the plastic, Ivan DBA. I'd never considered it, but I do like the proportions. |

Ivan--thanks for that. Those FF spears look nice. |

You can also try using blowgun darts. They also come in broad head designs. |

I'd never considered (or really heard of) blowgun darts- but images online look amazing! Capt. Flash- could you (or anyone else) tell us the typical diameter for the wire portion of the dart? Might they be suitable for 15mm figures, or only for 28mm? Thanks, RAH |

I'll second what rhesse asked. There seem to be a bewildering number of sizes. Any specific recommendations would be welcome! |
