Has anyone scratch-built (or converted) this LXG "tank" for 15mm gaming?

PS. I think that if anyone was planning on playing a Victorian/Edwardian version of the movie Aliens, this is what their "APC" vehicle would look like. Right?

You could probably get most of the way there by adding some "chunk" to the front of a WW1 British tank model and removing the guns.

I think Weasel is spot on -- a WWI British tank would be perfect place to start; maybe add some "steam powered" bits as well, to date it earlier & put it firmly in VSF/Alternate universe.

I looked at doing a project for this for my evil mastermind's faction but ended up going with one of Black Hat miniatures tanks with attached boiler.

Yeah, I'd start with a ~1/72 scale MkIV tank for 28mm gaming.

I seem to remember someone with templates for WW1 cardstock tanks.
