Has anyone converted any figures to be used as Baum's Brunswicker Dragoons?
As far as I can tell, Front Rank makes a couple of poses, but I'm not keen on them.
Foundry does one pack that you can use, but the figures have boots which would have to be replaced.

Anyone have any better ideas?
28 mm, by the way.

You would only need to file down the tops of the boots, as the dismounted dragoons wore the standard German above-the-knee gaiters. If it's pack SYWP48, as I think it is, it shouldn't be a problem.

Alternatively, Alan Perry has promised to make them when he returns to AWI after completing the "British in Egypt" range.

..But hopefully he has masses of Mameluks and Ottomans to do before that…

I have a pack of Minifigs that are specifically representing the dragoons (complete with trowsers in this case).

Not sure they are available anymore, though.

I'm quite fond of my Hinchliffe dudes, but they're wearing those 20lb boots.
