I'd suggest the question I'd like answered is – what does THIS game offer that other WW2 air systems do not? What, in the author's mind, was the rationale for penning a new set of rules for a rather over-represented niche of the hobby? For me, understanding the WHY of a new ruleset is much more important than the HOW or the WHAT. Love to hear AreoTom's thoughts. Hope the rules do well for you. - Martin |

Hi Martin, for me this game is a nice way to represent WW2 air combat without the need for hexes, and in a simple (almost Arcade-y) way. I have read through a few other rule sets like Bag the Hun and and Check your Six, and I found them to be too detailed for my liking, so I wrote something simple that plays without having to refer to too many rules! I will try to do an example game shortly to post on youtube. In the meantime, here are some RAF aircraft I've been putting together and painting, 1/600 scale from Tumbling dice: Hurricanes and an Avro Lancaster
Lancasters, Wellingtons, a B-17, Hurricanes and Spitfires
